The first time I heard the term was from a very good friend and chef with whom we shared workshops on “conscious eating”, she with her vast healthy culinary experience and I, a born scholar on the benefits of healthy eating.

What I have learned over the years is that all the contributions and approaches to conscious eating are valuable, as long as they lead you to become aware of choosing and eating the healthiest foods for you, learning to listen to your body, to respect it and therefore to nurture it with wisdom, remembering that we are all different.

And when we say with wisdom, do not imagine that you must be a guru, simply learn to listen, feel how your digestive system reacts to certain foods and foods that you eat. In addition to keeping you constantly learning about the nutritional benefits and quality of the food you buy.

There is a lot information that you can find in different places, I recommend that you look for reliable sources that respond to your needs. Here I share 10 Ayurvedic guidelines for healthy digestion.
